OUR PURPOSE:

The purpose of this group shall be to promote the library to individuals of the surrounding area, to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs through volunteering and fundraising activities. 

WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS?

We are a group of volunteers with elected officers, who function as a support group for Rawson Memorial Library. We believe our community deserves an excellent library. We promote our goals by focusing attention on library services.

WHAT DO FRIENDS DO?

• Hold fundraising events/activites,
• Promote and support the library everyday in every way,
• Volunteer, volunteer, volunteer!

• Annual Book Sale
• Better Book Sale
• Sponsoring Bus Trips
• Hosting Annual Tea
• Bags 'n Baubles Sale
• Flower Bulb Sale
• Bingo
• Amazon Book Sales
• Corner Bookstore

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE MONEY?

• Buy furniture, materials, equipment
• Support special programs
• Underwrite the library newsletter

First Friday of the month at 10:00 AM.
