Manhattan Short Film Festival

Manhattan Short Film Festival
24th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival
24th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival - 400 venues across six continents between September 23 and October 3, 2021

MANHATTAN SHORT is the only film festival of its kind.

The Film Festival screens simultaneously across the world during a one-week period, where attendees vote for Best Film and Best Actor awards at each participating venue. Every short film selected will automatically become qualified for the Oscars of 2022.

Not only do MANHATTAN SHORT filmgoers get the chance to watch the cream of the crop of this year’s international short films, every audience member also plays an integral part in deciding the winner. All attendees are handed a Voting Card and an Official Program and asked to vote for ONE film and actor they feel should win. The worldwide audience will determine the ultimate victor with the winner announced in New York City.

Rawson Library is excited to be part of this global event and for residents in the Thumb to experience a unique cultural opportunity in their own backyard.

Showings at Rawson Library are:

Saturday, September 25, 1 pm

Monday, September 27, 6 pm

Wednesday, September 29, 6 pm
